Alissa Palumbo received her Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law, and passed the July 2009 New York State bar examination. She graduated from Ithaca
College cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and a
minor in Classical Studies. Alissa has worked for state
and federal courts at various levels of review in Pennsylvania and
Washington. While at Pace, Alissa was a legal aide for the
New York State
Office of the Attorney General's consumer protection department. While in New York she was a member of the Young Professional Leadership Committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Alissa competed in the 15th and 16th annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration
Moot Court Competitions. In 2009 she received an honorable mention individual oralist award
and her team received an honorable mention for its Claimant's memorial.
She is currently working on the Global Sales Law Project and coaching the University of Basel Vis Moot Court team. Her doctoral thesis will focus on U.S. sales law.
