Jean Alain Penda Matipe is a Cameroonian
national, and holds an LLB from the University
of Buéa in Cameroon. He subsequently obtained
his LLM in International Corporate and Financial Law at the University of Wolverhampton,
in March 2008.
Jean Alain is a member of UNIDA
(Association for the Unification of Business Law in Africa), where he assists
with Association matters involving English and Portuguese speaking countries
within Africa.
Jean Alain is also an assistant to the webmaster in charge of
translation and publication of newsletter related to the OHADA law on the
website www.ohada.com. His role within the
OHADA organisation entails promotion and dissemination of materials related to
the OHADA law.
Author of several articles on OHADA
law, Jean Alain Penda is regularly invited to speak at conferences and
represents its association in most events worldwide. With basic notion in
Spanish and Portuguese, Jean Alain is fluent in English and French. His doctoral thesis examines the Modern Law of International Sales in Africa.
