Lic. iur. Alain F. Hosang graduated from the University of Basel, Switzerland in 2008. During his studies, he worked for VISCHER Attorneys at Law in Basel. In 2005 Alain was part of the University of Basel team at the 12th Annual Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot. The team was awarded Honourable Mentions for both the Claimant and Respondent Memorandums. In 2006 he participated in a negotiation skills workshop hosted by Bär & Karrer AG, a leading Swiss law firm. In winter 2008, he worked as an intern at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris.

Alain F. Hosang is a Research and Teaching Assistant to Prof. Dr. Ingeborg Schwenzer, LL.M. and is writing his doctoral thesis about international arbitration.

Alain F. Hosang is a German native speaker and fluent in English and French.
