Sophia
Juan Yang is a Chinese national. She graduated from the law faculty of Wuhan University
in China and subsequently obtained
her LL.M (summa cum laude) at the Institute of International Law of the same university. Her LLM had a specialization in private
international law and international commercial arbitration law. In
2007, Sophia Yang completed a successful internship at the Singapore
International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) following which she took a position as
Assistant Counsel at SIAC during 2007-2008.
In this role Sophia administered arbitral cases and assisted the China desk.
Sophia Yang is a native Chinese speaker and is fluent in English. Sophia’s doctoral thesis will focus on the modern sales law in South Asian countries. |
